JAC TTANNA (like sauna with a "T")- vocals and guitar
As a founding member of the 60's Sunset Strip icons "The Sons of Adam, Jac has
shared bills or worked with The Rolling Stones, Bo Diddley, Little Walter, Taj
Mahal, Jackie De Shannon, Barbara Morison, The Byrds, Love, The Blues Project,
The Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin and many more.
In the late 60's he started his own band. It was a short lived project called
Genesis which came and went a few years before the English version, but it did
produce one album on Mercury that is a collector’s item to this day, as are all the
Sons Of Adam records, and those of the "Fender IV" which was a surf incarnation
of the Sons of Adam.
Working with Canned Heat, as their road manager in the 70's, Jac shared song
writing responsibilities with guitarist Chris Morgan for "Hot Money", a song on
their album "Human Condition". There are many more "Morgan and Ttanna"
collaborations that will be unveiled in the future.
Jac took a few years off to raise a family. During that time, he never really
stopped playing, and he spent a great deal of time in the studio with his friend,
producer Richard Perry - (Ringo Starr, The Pointer Sister, Willie Nelson, Julio
Iglesias, Rod Stewart, and Ray Charles to name a few). This was a fantastic
learning experience. Now he’s back with this self produced, new album of
originals, and covers of some great material from his vast record and CD collection.

Rivkah Ross - Drums - Rivkah began playing at a very age while
growing up in Florida. She enrolled on Broward University and studied
music, piano, jazz, and classical precussion. Upon learning of the
Musicians Institute in Hollywood, she moved to California and a few years
later, graduated with a degree in Contemporary Styles. Since graduating
she has toured America and Europe with Jeff Hershey and the
Heartbeats. She has also been part of the drum ensemble on Stevie
Wonder’s House Of Toys at the Nokia Theater. She plays with a great
touch, and gives us the swing feel and groove that is the heart of what
R. T. Harris - acoustic and electric bass. R. T. is not just a bass
player. He’s a blues bass player. Although he’s proven at some of the
jams we’ve attended that he has vast musical knowledge, the bottom
line is that he has the feel and love of the blues that makes him perfect
for this band.
The Horn Dogs
You probably remember them as The Dirty Rotten Horns. But, after
deep reflection they decided having a name like The Dirty Rotten Horns
might cast aspersions on their artistic integrity. So they changed it to
The Horn Dogs??
Evan Mackey - Trombone
Rubin Salinas - Tenor, Alto and Baritone Sax (he plays a little flute also)
Danny Kay - Trumpet
Evan and Rubin are graduates of the CSUN Music Curriculum Course, and have
been playing together for years.
They are all hot soloists and can read and play just about anything. Fortunately
for us all, they love the blues.
We have a huge repertoire of covers and originals - all dance oriented. We are
